As a big fan of series such as Hornblower and Sharpe's Rifles I absolutely love this game and its predecessor. I was a bit dubious at first because of the magical element but it honestly isn't brought up that often making the game mostly about tactics and military politics with an additional focus on how the player character develops over the course of the war.. This novel offers unique storylines and character development of a 'Napoleon-era' officer, in a landscape where aristocracy rules the lands and your choices give control over the story. Cant wait for the third book, and i wish i could pay the author more than what it costs here on steam.
